  1. What are your fees?
  2. For shared apartments the security deposit is $750. For private residences it is $1200. The security deposit is refundable.

    The application fee is a non-refundable $250.

    Monthly cleaning fee is included in the rent.

  3. Payment Options
  4. All payments are done on our website. If you haven’t created an account yet, please click on “Get Started” to request an activation link. Once you receive the e-mail, please follow the instructions and create an account. Once you’ve signed up, you have access to:

    • View and pay your bills anytime (24/7)
    • View and pay your bills from anywhere (any computer with an internet connection)
    • Set up an automatic payment
    • Sign up for automatic reminder emails
    • Review your payment history

  5. Refunds
  6. The application fee is not refundable if you cancel. The security deposit is refundable.

  7. Are there any other possible costs?
  8. Yes, but none are hidden and none will come as a surprise. Broken furniture in the apartment will be charged to the responsible party or divided between all renters. A $50 late fee is charged if it’s after the first of the month, no exceptions. Any fixtures or water pipe damage caused by the renters will be charged to the renters.

  9. What are the available terms?
  10. Apartments are available all year. All leasing starts on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month. Both short term and long term leases are available. Only renters are allowed to spend the night. No overnight guests and no pets. Minimum 3 months is required.

  11. How do I to apply?
  12. If you are interested in a particular apartment, click “Apply Now” button and fill out the form. We will contact you to set an appointment for a showing. In case you’re not in LA, you can still reach us by completing the form or Contact Us form to learn more. You can also set an appointment by emailing or by calling (310) 391-5030. If you need more information and/or are not sure which apartment to choose, go to the Contact Us form. Someone will contact you.

  13. How to plan my arrival?
  14. First, tell us your LAX arrival information and we will pick you up! We really must be told in advance, not on the same day. If you are not going to bring bed linens and towels Solutions In LA can have them waiting for you. Just let us know in advance. You will come to Solutions in LA office to sign the contract and get the keys. Bring your student ID, I-20 and bank deposit documents.

  15. Do you offer extensions if I need to stay longer than my lease?
  16. Yes, we offer flexible leasing terms and will extend your lease! We do need to know with as much warning as possible, to make other arrangements with our incoming clients.

  17. What about maintenance?
  18. It is as simple as filling out a form. We take care of it all. You will only be charged if the issue was caused by your negligence. We try to have all issues assessed very quickly and fixed as soon as possible.

  19. Do you take pets?
  20. No, we are sorry, but we cannot take any pets.

  21. Is there parking?
  22. Yes we do provide parking. In some communities, parking is an extra charge.

  23. Are there house rules?
  24. Yes, they are the normal ones you would expect and will be spelled out specifically during the process of renting an apartment. Nearly all of them have been covered already in the questions above.
